Elementary OS Jupiter Release

Tonight, the first release of a new OS based on Ubuntu 10.10 is presented to the public.

This system is developed in accordance with the concept of minimalist interfaces and the aim of the project is to provide the simplest and most convenient environment.

The standard delivery includes the following programs:
"Midori"

Lightweight browser that effectively uses memory and computer resources.
"Docky" - a dock similar to the Makovsky panel
"Dexter" - contact management client

"Postler" e-mail client.

The “Nautilus-Elementary” add-on over the standard Nautilus adds to the attractiveness of management.

"Lingo" dictionary
The rest is quite standard.
