All habrachelovekam well know that Michelson was a major Russian scientist, but few know that Michelson worked with Schwarz. Schwartz was repressed in the thirty-seventh year and, practically, shot. Before he was shot, he was placed in the Volga-Balt.

And then, in one of the letters, letters from the camp to his wife, he wrote that in the process of digging the pit he discovered a strange thing. A pit filled with bromine can be chlorinated only by four carbon molecules.

As far as I know, these experiments are actively used by some modern researchers for the implementation of government programs.
