That was April 1, which means ... well, you understand, right? The very time to soak off some technological joke on colleagues and friends.
Introducing
BugDNS - the most April Fool's DNS on the planet.
I hope everyone understands how DNS works (
Wikipedia, help! ). Writing on a computer (modem, gateway, or server) this special address:
')
78.47.153.72
you will cheer up not only yourself, but also those around you (if they are all right with a sense of humor)!
Many popular sites will be reflected in this day as if in a crooked mirror, so do not be surprised if someone suddenly falls from a chair or knocks over a cup of coffee :-)
By the way, we did not specifically touch sites that play an important role in the work of commercial organizations and society as a whole: various corporate resources, as well as infrastructure services (search, mail, references, and so on).
Only glamorous and entertaining sites participate in the promotion. Going to one of the resources that fell under the satire, the user will see a demotivator picture that will simultaneously remind of the Day of Laughter and give a reason to smile, since most of the demotivators are parodies and were made individually for specific sites.
In the comments we collect any suggestions on finishing the
BugDNS to the mind, if the idea seems to be crude / not funny to you.
PS: TTL records are deliberately small - if the joke at work / does not take off from friends, it will be enough to return the network settings to the default, and in five minutes everything will be absolutely tip-top :-)
PPS: On the first of April !!!
