The official VKontakte app for iPhone

Today the official VKontakte application for iPhone was released, you can download and install it through the App Store (2.4 MB, Russian and English are available).
The application is available for iPhone, iPod touch or iPad running iOS 3.1.3 and higher.

Application features:

• News and commentary;
• Private messages;
• Friends and walls;
• Posting photos;
• Push notifications;
• Playing music.

It can be assumed that the official application for Google Android is just around the corner. Moreover, we have been talking about it for a long time, and VKontakte was looking for Android developers a few months ago. In the meantime, users of devices under this platform have access to unofficial applications that use the Open API and are limited in capabilities, or the web interface for the iPhone at i.vkontakte.ru ( i.vk.com ).
