Actually, this is not really a keyboard, but a remote control that is designed for the most modern TVs. It is clear that most of even the most modern TV remotes do not allow the use of Internet TVs that have become popular recently (well, probably not yet in the CIS countries). News about such TVs has repeatedly appeared on Habré, so that most of the habrew community is familiar with such devices.
Well, the idea of a remote with a keyboard literally soared in the air, so no one will be surprised by the fact that Samsung was the first to release such a remote. True, while in South Korea, but soon such devices will appear in the shops of many countries, there is no doubt about that. The console is a fairly complex device, with a display and an optical sensor. By the way, the remote consists of two parts - in fact, the remote, in its usual form, and a full QWERTY-keyboard, which is located on the reverse side. When the console is flipped to one of the sides, the sensor enters into operation, disabling the unused side.
')

In general, a really interesting development, which is useful to many owners of Internet TVs (who already have such, confess). In general, it is strange that the modern TV manufacturers themselves did not take care of the emergence of such devices as this remote in time - it would be logical to assume that the owners of Internet TV will not have the functionality of a conventional remote control.
In the announcement picture, the girl is just typing the text, apparently, in Korean. The remote keyboard looks quite normal, you can’t call it a designer achievement, but it's pretty decent anyway.
