Sony Ericsson will unlock the ability to unlock the boot loader on their phones

Good news for developers of android applications : already at the end of spring, Sony Ericsson will open the possibility for legal unlocking of the boot loader in models of this year.

The company met many requests from the developer community. The unlock feature will be available on some 2011 model releases with Android 2.3 Gingerbread on board: Xperia arc, Xperia PLAY, Xperia neo and Xperia pro. On some, because apart from technical limitations, access to the bootloader is limited by partnership agreements, for example, with telecom operators and software developers who want to protect their applications and games from being extracted from the protected user section in their phones.

Now, a professional developer or just a user with his hands from that place will be able, at least until the end of centuries, to coke his Xperia 2011, constantly changing and improving it.
