Google is close to launching a new project - Google Music

Sometimes important news about interesting services appear just out of nowhere, and the case of the Google Music service is no exception. Personally, I heard a lot of things about how Google’s social network is being developed, but I don’t know anything about the music service, which, as it turned out, has been developed for a long time in the depths of Google. This was reported not by the management of the corporation, but, as usual, by “unofficial sources”. These same unofficial sources shared the information that Google Music is already ready, and now it is being tested by employees of the corporation.

It all started when a member of the XDA Developers Internet community installed Android 3.0 Honeycomb on their device, and was surprised to see the Google Music apps. Naturally, this person immediately shared the news with colleagues and other XDA Developers contributors. After some time, it became known that such a service is really preparing to launch an Internet giant. Again, corporation officials declined to comment on the news (you need to sustain a theatrical pause, right?). Probably, the developers of PlayStation Phone lasted the longest pause - they didn’t comment at all until the phone was presented at the official event.

But back to Google Music. Despite the lack of official comments, it is already known that this service will allow you to listen to music on various models of mobile devices that are connected to the web. Downloading songs seems to be impossible, but you can listen to music online. Now Google is in talks with representatives of record companies and publishers. Negotiations are delayed, since the number of issues being discussed is rather complicated.

It seems that Google Music will start work in the near future, possibly in April. It is clear that this service is a very serious competitor for iTunes, because Google has everything you need to make your service very popular. There is a mobile operating system of its own, on the basis of which millions of mobile devices operate, there are hundreds of millions of users, there is a positive attitude of these millions of users to the company's services.

In general, we are waiting for the appearance of a new service, and we hope that it will be convenient and pleasant to use.
