Time Management: Evolution

About two years ago I decided to take up time management, since it seemed to me that I was living extremely inefficiently and would never “achieve success” at such a pace. I read a few books and countless articles from homegrown time management gurus of varying degrees of inflexibility. I even developed my own methodology, which included aspects of several systems, and wrote a special software, since everything that was on the market was too pitiful and unworthy of my attention.

And only now, when I spend 11 hours a day on work, and really free time appears only on weekends, I realized what a crap it all is. Now I am convinced that people who are engaged in time management are banal loafers who have nowhere to go. They do not find a better use for it than to draw all sorts of clever twists and keep a dozen separate notebooks for things like brushing your teeth and having lunch. Their brains die of idleness, and they occupy it with a pseudoscientific chewing gum, which gives the illusion of productive life.

Do you want to live effectively? Get a job with a full schedule, go to graduate school, start going to the gym and do exercises in the morning. If it seems a little, then take up two or three third-party projects. In a couple of months, one of two things will happen: either you will die or you will organize yourself and you will never clog your head with nonsense like time management.
