And one more wireless charger

After a vivid demonstration of the prototype of a wireless charger presented by Intel (in 2008, perhaps, a year), large corporations and small companies took up the practical implementation of this idea. Honestly, I have long been expecting the advent of practical and reliable wireless chargers, but unfortunately they are not there yet. All the time there are various wireless charging, which have many shortcomings - and they are compatible with an appallingly small number of devices, and the efficiency is low, and using them is not particularly convenient. This time, LG has entered the wireless charging market.

Its device is called the LG WCP-700, and it seems that it is no longer a prototype, but all the same, it all looks somehow ill-conceived. In general, the device is quite stylish, the design is also at altitude. Plus, it makes all sorts of beeps for the user's joy and blinks with LEDs, which is also pleasant to many people (to me personally, for sure - of course, if all of this doesn’t look like a Christmas tree).

To ensure that the owner of the mobile device does not miss when putting the gadget on charge, the developers have drawn two concentric circles. The size of the device is 160x90x10, and the device starts charging as early as 7 mm from the edge. There are three types of signals - if the LED is orange, the device is ready for operation, if it is flashing green, the gadget is charging, the green has stopped blinking, the gadget has been charged.

In general, there are no complaints about the design, only the device itself. Well, somehow the whole process looks strange - you first need to plug in the charging itself, then place the device neatly on it, making sure that it is in the correct position. How is this method better than charging the device using a standard charger? Unless friends / colleagues can be pleased with an innovative method of recharging the battery of your mobile.

True, there are already initiatives - some manufacturers create entire computer desks, into the surface of which are built-in induction chargers. Some even provide monitors, plus they can charge devices compatible with such chargers placed on the table surface.
