Flowed information about the first results of testing Bulldozer

Actually, this was supposed to be not a post, but a link, but a link http://openbenchmarking.org/result/1103225-IV-CRAYBULLD67,1103022-IV-R910WITHB14&compare did not miss the link.

In Cray, Bulldozer was tested with C-Ray (ray tracing). And it turned out that a 2-processor system (@ 1.8GHz) with 8 cores (16 integer clusters and 8 FPU) - only 16 FPU - performs the calculation in 26 seconds. For comparison: 4-x processor on Xeon (X7550 @ 2GHz) with 8 cores (8 FPU + 8 int) - only 32 FPU - in 14 seconds. As a result, it turns out that processor performance is comparable (tracing is a good test that checks all processor subsystems), or maybe even better with Bulldozer, because 4 Xeon's have a large memory bandwidth: 16 memory access channels versus 8 mi
