Hello habrazhiteli! It is strange that a wonderful small resource
Yandex. Browsers are still not mentioned here, even in the comments. But it can be useful not only for ordinary citizens, but also for website developers.

On Habré has repeatedly raised the topic of what to do with the hardened users of IE6. Someone diligently optimizes the layout for them and doesn’t give out anything, someone does the same thing, but also gives formidable windows about an outdated browser. And someone just automatically redirects them to various pages explaining the whole horror of the situation, with links to modern alternatives in the form of Opera, Firefox and Chrome.

I am on my latest projects more and more sympathetic to the last of these groups. And the Yandex project has become the very road that my visitors go to a “bright future.”

That's what they see about the first thing:

Plus a listing of the benefits of the new version of Internet Explorer and several alternatives for it to choose from.
Why is
Yandex Browser ? There are several reasons.
Firstly, in my opinion, a very important factor is trust. The user is more likely to download something from the “native” and familiar Yandex, rather than from the vast majority of other sites, including yours. Especially if the visitor is new, not old (loyal).
Secondly, their repository is updated in a timely manner with the latest versions and is highly fault tolerant.
The only drawback to which you can pay attention is the “taste” of Yandex, which some people don't like =) Although, if I'm not mistaken, during installation, the user can unbind the binding of the Bar and other buns by setting a clean browser.
