I propose to make an authorization form a la Yandex, i.e. so that when clicking on “Login”, an authorization form would appear. (see example on LiveJournal, when you indicate that you have an account on LiveJournal, the authorization form immediately comes out). Thereby it will not be necessary to do unnecessary transitions on pages and once again update pages.
2. I propose to remove the block to write to the blog “Khabrkhabr - Ideas for the site”, try to get interesting ideas, but I cannot publish them - there is not enough karma.
If this does not fit, then at least lower the bar to the level of zero karma, so that new things could express their wishes, so to speak, with a fresh look.
