All-Russian Conference "Modern technological education in school: from computer to robot"



The All-Russian Conference “Modern Technological Education at School: From Computer to Robot” will be held on March 23, 2011 in the main building of FML No. 239 as part of the II St. Petersburg Educational Forum.

Conference purpose
The development of children's technical creativity in the main and additional education.

Concept
Computerization of schools and the introduction of computer science as a whole took place. However, the rapidly changing world inevitably poses a new challenge: the development of robot technology and the use of robotic devices. Modern opportunities for equipping schools make it possible to introduce robotics as a new subject within the framework of technological education and circle work.

Main tasks
1. Exchange of experience in the introduction of robotics in various regions of the Russian Federation.
2. Identification of the most effective methods of teaching robotics.
3. Coverage of the possible directions of development of school robotics.
4. Development of cooperation with universities.
