In general, it is difficult to describe this mouse in one or two words. The bottom line is that this is not really a mouse, or rather, it is not a mouse at all. The evoMouse device, created by Cellulon, seems to turn a section of a solid surface in front of you into a touchpad. however, the device itself does not need to be controlled. By the way, this is not a Chinese experience, as one might think (I decided right away), but a device created by scientists from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

So, work with the mouse evoMouse rather virtual. The device recognizes your gestures, and transforms it into commands perceived by a PC or laptop as a mouse. At the same time, as you can see, there is nothing in your hands. Pressing the mouse button, scrolling, double-click - all this is done with a hand that “works” with the bare surface of the table.

It should be noted that the work of evoMouse is not limited to recognizing one or two gestures, evoMouse recognizes and commands go back and forth when working in the browser, there is a function of scaling, image rotation and many other functions. In addition, evoMouse can even be used as a virtual keyboard (yes, the evoMouse device is not alone, there are quite a few of these keyboards, but none of them are widely used).

It is a pity that it is not yet clear whether the device will be released to the market, and if so, when it goes to stores, at what price. In principle, I would give 60-80 dollars for this gadget - what if it’s more convenient to work with it than with a regular mouse? Especially since it can also depict a keyboard.
