Open Day "Business Informatics" at St. Petersburg State University

On March 19, 2011, by 3:00 pm, the faculty of the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University invite all those who are interested in studying in the magistracy of St. Petersburg University in the direction of "Business Informatics" to visit. As part of the Open Day, teachers of the department "Information Systems in Economics" will talk about the master's program "Business Informatics", as well as answer your questions.

This year at the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University opens a new direction of training masters "Business Informatics". The Master's program at the Faculty of Economics of St. Petersburg State University is intended for graduates of Russian and foreign universities with bachelor’s or specialist’s degrees, including those who have not previously studied in Economics. Education in the magistracy is carried out on the state budget and contractual basis.

The program involves the preparation of highly qualified business analysts and managers dealing with the problems of strategic and operational management of the business based on modern and promising directions of development of mathematical and instrumental methods, as well as researchers and teachers in the field of business informatics. The task of the "Business Informatics" direction is to prepare a graduate to work on the management of a group of executives, the analytical department of the company, the IT department, to perform the functions of a top manager in the organization and management of business in IT.
