This is especially pronounced when buying Apple equipment, since officially the equipment, if supplied, then with a long delay and in most cases at exorbitant prices. This article will not be able to solve the first problem fully, since Hong Kong is not the so-called “country of the first wave”, where Apple devices appear first, but I will try to describe the method of dealing with the second later.

So, what is this post about?


In this post, I want to describe the entire process of buying equipment on the Apple Store HK through an intermediary (Shipito), starting with the main points of working with shipito.com , ending with combining several packages into one and paying for delivery to Russia. The described method can be used for the US, but, unfortunately, I have not tried to do this and, according to some reviews, the Apple Store US refuses to send to Shipito addresses, at this point I will try to stop in more detail in conclusion.

As I said earlier, Shipito is an intermediary that provides a virtual postal address in Hong Kong, China and the United States, as well as providing services for the purchase of goods not only on the Internet, but also in the real stores of all these countries + Japan. Since the instructions for registering and using the service are well described in many forums, for example here , I will try not to devote a lot of time to this, but only to note the main thing, for example, that having registered under the “Individual Pakage” plan and paying through PayPal and suddenly decide that you will not use the service, you can actually return a part of the money, then from $ 8.5 they offer to return $ 3.35 ($ 5 service fee + cents for a transfer or something), but since Russian PayPal, as far as I know, cannot accept money, this operation is not new a. In general, before registering, you will firmly decide whether you will use the service, if you are still not sure and are ready to lose some of the money, then it is better, probably, to pay with a card, I personally have not tried.

I wait for the day, and the answer comes, it contains something like the following: "Dear customer, we tried to write off the money, but we did not succeed, perhaps the card is blocked, contact the bank." A call to the bank, within 40 minutes, I still get to the person who can look at the requests for my card and get an answer that there was no attempt. Again, I am writing to Apple with a request to repeat the operation, but in response, again I receive a letter asking for an extract, but without the address and name, only the card number and the last operation. I began to search through the entire Sberbank online (online banking from Sberbank) and found a miracle that I could get a card statement (I wonder why the support does not know about this function).

After receiving the statement, I sent them a screenshot of the statement, which looks like this:
