The Japanese still made another revolution in games
This is a revolution, no more, no less. Habitual first-person shooters after this are depressed, even those who have to play with the mouse (I just keep quiet about the gamepad). Speech on Sony's new PS3 controller - Sharp Shooter. The following video shows the novelty in all its glory:
Yes, this is a controller, not just a cradle for the present (their) controller (s) - it has its own system of buttons and switches, it does not just mechanically interact with the Move. At first, I just played this game with Mobile in my hand (unfortunately, Sony did not have time to bring Sharp Shooter to Russia in time). Spectacular, but uncomfortable. And yesterday I managed to get the European version (gray import, alas, works faster than official logistics) - and it was a real cognitive shock. Feels like - at least bench shooting, at most - paintball (adrenaline mass, accuracy and reaction, but no particular physical exertion). I finally managed to shoot the enemies exactly as if I did it in real life. Point shots to the head, limbs, objects - have ceased to be an exception, they have become the rule. I flew the entire storyline campaign two times faster. ')
Not being a fan of online battles, however, I am sure that with this thing you can destroy human opponents with speed and accuracy that was previously unattainable. For eSports this may be a new round of development.
This is a brief, emotional post about the experience of using the controller, however, it is impossible to convey with words - I advise you to try, if possible, on your own.
