The site rospil.info has detractors. They DDoSs site in January. Now they have come up with a new tactic: send spam to the return address abuse@godaddy.com and offer to unsubscribe from spam by sending a message to the same address.
Naturally, there were users (English-speaking) who took and sent a letter to Abuse. Yesterday GoDaddy sent me a message:
')
- SPAM WARNING - EMAIL
- Dear Pavel Senko,
We have received complaints that you are involved in sending.
unsolicited email messages for / from the following domain (s):
ROSPIL.INFO
If this is the case, GoDaddy.com, Inc. requires that you cease this activity
immediately. You are also required to respond to this within 24
hours to address the situation. Failure
or cancellation of service.
etc.
I wrote to them in detail that we are not doing this, and that there are certain forces that want RosPil to close as quickly as possible. They did not accept my answer and they demanded to provide proof that one of the victims of spam was indeed subscribed to our mailings.
Their answer caused me quite understandable confusion, since it turns out that they either did not read my answer or did not understand it at all. All the details of our "communication" are in Q & A:
http://habrahabr.ru/qa/5667/ there, by the way, I was advised to post here.
There is a spam letter header. I, of course, use it for correspondence with GoDaddy.
So far, I have initiated a domain transfer to register.com.
What else can you do?
UPDATE : I called GoDaddy, talked to a living person. Explained the situation to him. He told me that a) the domain is in normal status, there are no marks about spam, b) there is no evidence on the account that a warning was issued, c) to the offer to send him a correspondence with GowDaddy Abuse Department he sent his direct email I sent three consecutive messages (two from the jimela and one from the yah) with correspondence - within a few minutes of the conversation they received none. Once again I carefully studied the headers of the letters from the Abuse Department, they really belong to GowDuddy.
Meanwhile, two more letters came from the Abuse Department (now from domainbyproxy.com, a partner of GowDuddy) in which they threatened to turn everything off, if spam does not stop.
