Error updating Windows 7 SP1 fatal error c0000034

This morning at work we were pleasantly surprised by the calls of users and the new Windows error.

The error occurs when installing Sp1 on windows7, after rebooting the machine stops loading with an error

Fortunately, there is already a solution to this problem.

1) When booting Windows, press F8 and select "Computer Troubleshooting"

2) Run the "command line"

3) Run the notepad "notepad.exe"

4) In the “File> Open” notebook, go to the “C: \ Windows \ winsxs \” directory (most likely the drive letter will be D :)

5) select “File Type” - “All Files”

6) We are looking for the file "pending.xml"

7) Search "CTRL + F" looking for "0000000000000000.cdf-ms"

8) Find and delete

9) Restarting the computer, it may try to install updates, this is normal.
