Three Norwegian designers Timo Arnoll, Jorn Knutsen and Einar Sniv Martinussen created a brilliant example of technological aesthetics, deciding to visualize the wireless networks covering their city. They took a four-meter rail, equipping it with a pre-receiver Wi-Fi, and strengthened it with 80 LED-diodes. When the rail moved along the city streets, the power of the Wi-Fi signal changed, and the brightness of the diodes also changed according to its level. Motion shooting was made by a motionless camera on a support with very long exposure. The result was a very beautiful photo (more under the cut), as well as a video that captures the process of making the slats.
