As it turned out recently, the overwhelming majority of Russians support the creation of a Russian operating system. The results of a survey conducted recently on the Mail.ru portal were a revelation: 55% of respondents consider it reasonable to create a Russian OS from scratch, and another 30% to create their own Linux distribution.

Naturally, the first enthusiasts immediately appeared who are ready to embody the people's will in reality. On launching a project to write the core of the Russian OS, a certain Mikhail Chabanov said.
