The ninth paragraph of the
Agreement on the provision of communication services "Beeline" forced all the subscribers of the operator to "agree" to receive advertising.
This state of affairs, as I believe many other subscribers, did
not suit me. Initially, I called the CPC at
0611 , wrote emails to
info@beeline.ru , to refuse to receive SMS spam. After that, I visited the office of the operator, where I wrote a statement refusing to receive advertising. But, unfortunately, it did not help get rid of annoying ads.
Then I turned to Rospotrebnadzor, where my complaint did not find understanding, and then to the
Stavropol OFAS (Federal Antimonopoly Service Directorate), whose competence includes the consideration of cases on violation of advertising legislation.
Stavropol OFAS, having carefully considered the complaint, after listening to my arguments,
fined Beeline for violating advertising legislation:

So, a year after the beginning of this story, justice prevailed.
Advertising messages to my numbers are no longer received (as the operator’s lawyer assured, they are all in all possible stop-lists).
