At the end of 2010, ABBYY’s project to develop a new text translation and textual analysis technology was one of the first Skolkovo residents. Subsequently, the Skolkovo Foundation found it possible to support this project with grant funding in the amount of 474,996 thousand rubles.

We have long been developing this project and did not want to make it public until the release of finished products. However, the arrival of this project in Skolkovo obviously requires an understandable story about the history of the project, its current status and prospects. We want to tell a lot of interesting things about what ABBYY has been doing for the last 10 years behind the scenes and what kind of interaction with the Skolkovo project we are planning.

We want to provide you with the opportunity to get first-hand information - ask questions to the CEO of ABBYY, Sergey Andreev. Under the cut of his brief professional biography. You can ask your questions to Sergey (and not only about Skolkovo) in the comments, Sergey will answer them in the next post.
