Yesterday's sensational event (the
beginning of the All-Russian construction of LTE networks in 180 cities ) continues to generate its information echo in the media sphere. There were videos, videos about this event
on newstube and at RIA Novosti .

I want to immediately stress and emphasize that both of these sources mention
that Vladimir Putin was shown by the world's first
4G phones. The website RIAN.Ru also writes that these mobile phones are made in Russia and are made in China, and one of the hyperlinks there is hinting that this is the same phone with LTE, whose prototype was shown
in September 2010 by DA Medvedev head of Russian Technologies (and which was also developed by Scartel). Although I myself, reading and comparing this news, could not help but notice that it was then reported on the RIAN website that it was planned to entrust the release of the device to an unnamed Taiwanese OEM manufacturer, but now we are talking about China.

Many have to remember that the prototype of the mobile phone at that time caused numerous grins in his address from many bloggers and analysts, being far from the final performance. Personally, even now it’s not quite clear to me how things are now, whether the mention of “phones” instead of “prototypes” is evidence of
“Yota” progress in this direction, and not even the achievement of some devices' readiness. But I see the future: in the very near future, the situation will clear up more radically, because you can't build an LTE network without having any phones for it to be sold to subscribers.
