A long time ago, at the end of the 90s, a very useful utility VolumeControl (by Dmitry Myadzelets), which could be used instead of the standard volume indicator, came into my grasping arms. Differences from the standard volume indicator were amazing: unlike the absolutely useless “native”, this indicator showed the volume level, besides, this level could be changed by scrolling the mouse wheel over the icon or holding the right or left mouse button on the icon.
Time passed, the program was lost, and after a long break, I re-opened this program. This time, her appearance gave me conflicting feelings. Therefore, without thinking twice, I drew my icons and replaced the resources in the original program. Everything works perfectly, pleases the eye. The “native” indicator finally went to the dustbin of history.
