A pick and place robot that makes a part of itself

I already wrote several times on Habré about the Mars rover board . This is such a simple "robot controller" for studying circuitry, hardware description languages Verilog , VHDL, for creating simple electronic toys and automation devices.

We designed this board, we manufacture and distribute it. Our project - with open source - from the very beginning we have published the circuit board. Now files describing PCB boards are also available on our website .

The most important thing is that with the help of our Mars Rover we make different projects, the source texts and descriptions of which we also publish on our website !

I want to show a short video showing one of our latest projects. The Mars - Rover board controls an improvised robot that assembles the Mars Rover board. To be more precise - the robot installs SMD components (resistors and capacitors) on the printed circuit board.



So the future is almost here - robots can do themselves :-)
