56 applications with the contents of the Trojan code removed from the Android Market

Google removed 56 Trojan-infested applications from the Android Market. For several days of stay of programs in the market, from 50 to 200 thousand phones with Android on board managed to get infected. Google activated the compulsory deletion function from infected devices and the notification of their owners. All malware was placed in the market under the accounts - “Kingmall2010”, “we20090202” and “Myournet”.

The Trojan, which is embedded in the application, bears the romantic name of DroidDream and can get full access over the phone and operating system, in addition, it supports updating and reloading the necessary code and, of course, remote control.

What can come out of the spread of malware is not difficult to guess. This is a botnet network, SMS and spam and many more not very pleasant things.
