A little background

A few days ago, I terribly wanted to review a couple of performances of the inimitable RMS (which is Richard Matthew Stallman ). On YouTube, such good stuff in bulk and I received a life-giving charge of the sacred power of GNU from the Great Prophet of Free Software. Particular attention was drawn to one short video from the year 1984, in which Uncle Ricci is still relatively young, is not yet so skillful in rhetoric and in which the development of the GPL is still ahead. A footnote to this video clarified that the stub is part of a small movie called " Hackers: Wizards of the Electronic Age ". Finding it entirely was not an easy task, but I did find, download and upload it on YouTube specifically for nostalgic habrovans and for all those interested in the history of IT, hacker culture and STR.

26 minutes and 35 seconds of travel in 1984 ...
