We invite you to a small tour of
our office.
Today in the program - corridors.
History: In connection with the growth of the team about two years ago, the Zfort Group moved to a new office. The premises we received were not exactly five-star, but “the walls are the main thing” - we consoled ourselves.
Workrooms cleaned up pretty quickly: new furniture, paintings, darts, etc. made them quite cozy. But we didn’t pay attention to the corridor for more than a year. However, with the passage of time it became clear that the office also begins “from the hanger”, i.e. the corridor greatly affects the mood in the morning when we arrive at work. Therefore, it was decided to make the corridor more positive.
We are not Google or Yandex, so we did not invite interior design studios or embark on global expensive repairs. We gathered the initiative group, discussed several options and chose the most optimal one: without extra luxury and unnecessary frills, make the corridor just cozy, so that it would be nice to enter in the morning or warm up during the day.

What came of it? See below for some photos.
Unfortunately the photos “Was” were made for working moments without the purpose of creating the gallery “It was-Became”, therefore the perspectives of the photos are not exactly the same.
The beginning of the corridor, we enter. As you can see, they decided to make the corridor practically in corporate colors (white, blue, green). The walls are painted white (it was light yellow, the photos on the left do not convey a shade). A soft green carpet was laid on the floor. Lamps were placed on the floor, pots with trees and ottomans were placed so that you could sit under a tree and chat on the phone. On the walls hung pictures with landscapes:
Let's go a little further and turn around:
We go even further. Be careful, the doors open!
A little further. The tennis table was removed to a separate room, where the seats on the sides of the table are bigger and the noise for others is smaller.
We installed a glass case where cups are kept, obtained in sports competitions and our souvenir products.
A gloomy iron fire door at the end of the corridor was glued with photowall-paper, and now there is a 2D storage room with jam jars and other supplies. To the left of the door is a tea corner.
Now, instead of a tennis table, we have wicker chairs and a table standing under a palm tree on the veranda overlooking the sea.
In the photo below on the left - a piece of a tea corner and a poster with a sideboard, which our designers drew in order to fall into a stupor on Monday morning, trying to take a packet of coffee from the poster :)
In the photo on the right is the Scrat squirrel that lives on an olive tree.
Let's open the first door and look into the working rooms with one eye, but only for a second - we'll take a closer look at the rooms in the next tour of the Zfort Group office.
That's all.
What is the purpose of this publication? By no means boasting, the level of the office is not the standard for others. I just wanted to share how we solved the "interior" problem. After the completion of the renovation, our staff and guests claim that it turned out to be “cozy” and “homely”. Is this not the most important thing for IT people? Indeed, many of us spend almost more time in the office than at home.
We hope that at least one of you who have read this note will be inspired by ideas on how to improve your room, office or apartment. Or just get a small positive charge needed to work on current tasks.
Thanks for your time and attention!
