We have a good habit in our company - internal seminars. On them we learn from each other various interesting things, such as:
TDD , GIT, why we need
business cards and even about the skills of effective presentation.

But as in any other closed system, our mutual knowledge is limited. Therefore, we are looking for people who could
share their knowledge within our friendly team.
')
First, some statistics. Our seminars:
- held in St. Petersburg (speakers from other cities pay for travel and accommodation);
- from 20 to 40 employees (65% of them are programmers, 15% are testers, 20% are project managers);
- last from 40 minutes;
- take place once a week, on Fridays.
Now is the time to answer the sounded question before kata, why should you become a speaker at our internal seminars? What do you get as a speaker?
- teaching undoubtedly improves karma ;
- training skills of speaking at a small loyal audience;
- video recording of your performance;
- A small contribution to the treasury of your fame as a professional :)
Our first external speaker was Yevgeny Marchenkov, with a wonderful presentation on remarkable performances. He told
why programmers speak at conferences and, most importantly, how to do it.
Our next guest will be the notorious
Tanya Misyutina . She plans to tell our guys about the basics
of interface design .

If you understand something related to the development of websites or software and can talk about it, we will be very happy! Write on
pr [dog] freshp.ru possible topic of your speech.
Topics of interest to us first:
- Why do we need rubber sites and how to design them;
- Fast and cheap usability testing (as an option, according to Krug);
- SEO for dummies.
Waiting for quite a reasonable question “How to get to the seminar as a listener,” I answer only by
becoming an employee of the company :)
UPDATE: Speakers from other cities will pay for travel, accommodation.
