150 thousand Google Mail users lost access to mail

More than 150,000 account holders of the Google Mail service have lost access to the mail service. This is reported on the official website of Google.
According to the online edition of The Huffington Post, some of the Gmail users have lost all email messages, as well as a list of email contacts, folders, and personal mailbox settings. At the same time, users continued to receive new letters.

Initially, Google reported that problems could affect 0.29 percent of Gmail account holders. Subsequently, it turned out that Gmail does not work properly in less than 0.02 percent of users. 193.3 million people use Google’s mail every month.

For the first time, Google announced that the postal service was intermittent at 00:20 Moscow time on February 28. At the time of this writing, Google specialists did not provide the official reason for the service problems, and did not specify when the full access to the service would be restored.
