Not so long ago, Habré already had the
news that Google began to struggle with so-called content farms by using the opinions of its users about specific resources. Now, the corporation has officially announced the launch of a new search algorithm, which will focus on projects that provide users with detailed and most importantly, original information (what information is not important). Thus, Google is going to struggle with copy-and-paste resources, typosquatters and other representatives of black and gray SEO.
Interestingly, Google announced the introduction of a new algorithm after it worked for several days. According to the developers, for the full-scale operation of the algorithm, it takes several days for all Google search engines to take over. According to the management of the corporation, the new algorithm will increase the rating of quality resources, and reduce to a minimum the rating of substandard resources.

As always, Matt Cutts gave his comment, saying that Google considers extensive articles, analytical reports, reference materials, etc., all that can benefit a visitor to a certain site as high-quality content. Poor-quality content is copy-paste, any kind of synonymized content, and so on and so forth.
Naturally, the developers do not publish all the details and features of the new algorithm, since such information can serve all kinds of “optimizers” who, for their own purposes, will manipulate the features of the new algorithm.
By the way, as for the way of dealing with content farms mentioned in the announcement, which was mentioned earlier, Matt Cutts argues that users' opinions will not be taken into account by the new algorithm, and user feedback will not affect the position in the search results of sites. But this is temporary until the algorithm is fully deployed. After some time, users' results with the Personal Blocklist extension will be applied in the Google search algorithm.
