Google translate. Possible options!

A Sphinx recently tested Google translator and found some strange interesting results. I can not quote, especially since the network has not yet seen it.

When translating from Russian:
'Bjarn Stroustrup' - 'While developers' (with Stroustrup in general it's somehow funny, 'Bjarn Stroustrup is a stupid fool' turns into 'While developers learn learn')
'Brian Kernigan' - 'Brian editor'
'Rasmus Lerdorf' - 'Rasmus true.' (???)
'vladimir' - 'george' (with a small letter!)
'Genta' - 'News' (I didn’t understand the humor here, maybe a bug)
'Slak' - 'Slackware'
'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' - 'Lola on the galaxy'
'Buffers' - 'Overflow'
'Flickr' - 'Image' (say hello to Flickr :)
'Lisp' - 'C' (blasphemers!)
'xxx sucks' - 'xxx boy' (and if 'xxx' = 'Sasha', then it is replaced with 'golden' - what's the catch I didn’t understand, but amusing)
'Bear' - 'Bëär'

When translating from English:
'LISP' - 'Syntax' (there’s also some kind of funny trick that hasn’t been revealed until the end, like a bit of a phrase)
'Donald Knuth' - 'Whip, Donald Irwin' :) respect
'Alan Turing' - 'Turing, Alan Mathison' :) respect
'Alonzo Church' - 'Alonso Church' :( do not respect
'Guido van Rossum' - 'Guido van Rossum, Guido': | lazhanulis
'GNU Manifesto by RMS.' - 'GNU Manifesto on ASP.NET.' (smells of necrophilia)
