Toshiba R800
Toshiba has introduced a new series of unique ultra-thin and light notebook R800 Ailtair. A feature of this line, along with impressive computing power, was a number of Toshiba technological innovations, which made it possible to increase the reliability and stability of laptops to deformation. For the first time, the novelties were presented in Barcelona at the Mobile World Congress 2011 exhibition. In Russia, the R800 Ailtair will appear in the 2nd quarter of 2011.
The series, called beautifully Ailtair, expands the model range, and also continues and develops the ideas embodied in the previous version of the Toshiba Satellite R630 compact notebooks. Now, the R800 lineup includes three models at once: R830, R840 and R850, with diagonals, respectively, 13.3 ", 14.0" and 15.6 ".

Independent organization TÜV Rheinland (Germany) conducted a series of tests HALT - a series of repetitive tests that determine potentially weak links in the product scheme under conditions of temperature changes, thermal shocks, stepwise changes in vibration level and the combination of temperature and vibration effects. Toshiba laptops withstood a fall from a height of 76 cm and a continuous pressure of 100 kg on the cover with a screen. In addition, the data remained intact without consequences, the passage of a 30 ml liquid was transferred.
Laptops feature an innovative Airflow Cooling heat removal system. She allows
more efficiently dissipate heat and use powerful Intel Sandy Bridge processors, while maintaining a low noise level during operation.
