My God! How many more diplomas fit on the wall in my office. Somewhere a year ago, an understanding came - Everything. with contests it's time to finish. The time has come to make money.
My story is generally quite confusing. Fate decreed that in 2004, I was a graduate of the Physics and Mathematics of the Lyceum and optional VIC, became the President of the Coordinating Council of the Russian Branch of the World Association of Scientific Rabbit Breeding (http://wrsa.ru) and my main work is still somehow connectedjust do not laugh with rabbits. However, even in such an exotic area, as it turned out, modern technologies can be successfully applied.
It all started with that our small rabbit farm at that time was very rapidly growing (almost doubled every month), and therefore the amount of information that needs to be stored very vigorously (data on genealogical links, work performed, etc.). First, a simple little program was written, which over time grew into a serious System.

By the time we decided to start selling the resulting product, it turned out that the system architecture (it was understood that users would use the program via the Internet, and this in 2004!) Was chosen too optimistic.
It was necessary to recycle the product, besides, with an increase in work experience, we understood in what places the System can be significantly improved, where to add.
A great success was the victory in the competition "START-06", due to the grant for which it was possible to bring the new development to the logical end: to rework the interfaces of the System, to extend the functionality.
In early June 2007, we launched our System for sale. Currently, more than 120 orders have been received for the test version of the System, orders continue to be received.
We managed, by the way, to keep the opportunity to work with the System via the Internet, and therefore you can look at the program in action today here: setyoupet.com
As far as it turned out, collecting information on the topic is a unique initiative in this area. Internet resources of similar subjects and functionality do not yet exist.
In the near future we plan to expand the functionality of this version, translate it into several European languages, and adapt it for use by dog breeders and cat breeders.
