In an effort to find additional areas of application for such an interesting device as Kinect, the developers come up with a lot of all sorts of things, literally every day there is something new related to Kinect. At this time, there was a whole browser, sharpened by working with Kinect, and called
SwimBrowser . The name of the browser, according to the developer, shows its capabilities - you must make movements with your hands to “float” across the expanses of the Web.
This project is part of the OpenNI Developer Challenge, and by design, browser gesture control allows you to perform almost all the usual operations - zoom in / out pages, manage bookmarks, visit your favorite sites. True, typing in the address bar probably will not work - in any case, the author of the browser remains silent about such a function. Perhaps the developer uses speech recognition to enter the address in the address bar, but nothing is said about it.

By the way, Microsoft recently announced plans to provide Kinect SDK to Kinect enthusiasts, so there should be even more different devices and software designed to work with this device. You can imagine something like an app store under Kinect for working with a variety of devices, games and everything else. Now, users and developers are showing increasing interest in Kinect, so you can really expect an app store to appear.
As for the browser, then you can see how it all works, the video is posted below.
