Protection against cybersquatters - where to register domains in the zone * ru?

Everyone has long known that special cybersquatting software analyzes the domains that were requested for checking whether they are busy / not busy at most Russian registrars. Interesting and simple domains, found in this way, cybersquatters register for themselves on the same day.

I think everyone faced such a problem, or at least heard that something similar was happening with friends. A completely normal situation is when you send a request to register a domain, and you receive a message that the registration was successful, and you can register HCy to the domain. The next day, you find that the domain does not belong to you, and your registrar just throws up his hands: when registering, it turns out you didn’t fill in all the fields, or made some mistakes.

Obviously, the only solution to this issue is to use only verified registrars. Until recently, such registrars were nic.ru and webnames.ru for me. But no later, as the day before yesterday, colleagues reported that they were trying to search for free domains on these services, the domains were found, and within a day, when they planned to register a set of domains, they were all taken.

It is not known which of these services leaked the information, but the fact is quite obvious - about 20 different domains that were checked by my friends were taken.

What happens? Now nic.ru and webnames.ru also can not be trusted? Share who uses what registrars in the zone * ru? I would also like to hear the opinion of the owners of webnames.ru and cybersquatters, if they, of course, want to say something about this.
