Seminar: Making an Agile project. Roles, practices, tools
On March 3, 2011, Careerlab and ScrumTrek, with the support of Microsoft, will hold a workshop that will focus on developing projects using the Agile methodology in Visual Studio.
Currently, there is a lot of information about the effectiveness of tools such as Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 and Microsoft TFS 2010. Using them using Scrum and XP practices allows you to develop high-quality software in a tough competitive environment. Especially important, as a rule, for project team leaders is the question of fixing for themselves the “big picture”, which clearly reflects the use of role tools in relation to specific phases of the project iteration.
Like the actors, Dmitry Nikonov, Denis Pasechnik and Anton Vadischev will play roles modeling various behaviors and situations that arise in the project, as well as demonstrate the capabilities of Visual Studio 2010 at different stages of the project life cycle.
Dmitry Nikonov is an expert in software development tools and methodologies, he taught at the University of Washington, and currently holds the position of Principal Program Manager in Microsoft, USA. For several years, he was the head of development at Amazon.com.
Denis Pasechnik - Software Development Specialist at Microsoft Ukraine, more than 10 years of experience in software development.
Anton Vidischev is a technical team leader and senior developer at Sigma Ukraine, an advocate of using Agile product methodology within the Visual Studio 2010 development environment.
This seminar is an opportunity to acquire new knowledge and experience. It is interesting for those who work or intend to work with Visual Studio, as well as anyone who works or wants to expand their knowledge of Agile.
