In honor of the # Jan25 revolution, the Egyptian named his daughter Facebook

While American parents worry that their children spend too much time on Facebook, Egyptian parents call their children the name of this site.

Egyptian Jamal Ibrahim gave his first daughter the name Facebook in memory of the role of this social media in organizing protests in Tahrir Square and beyond. Accordingly, the full name of the girl was Facebook Jamal Ibrahim.

As it is known, Google’s We Are Khaled Said page created by Facebook employee Google, served as a focal point for coordinating anti-government protests until Mubarak’s resignation.

A family of girls, friends and neighbors gathered around the newborn to express their support for the revolution that started on Facebook. Facebook received many gifts from young people who were overjoyed because of her birth and her name.
