We already reported about the new Toshiba tablet running Android, which will be announced this spring. However, at Mobile World Congress 2011, Toshiba presented a prototype of another model, this time based on Windows 7.

Wintel is a term that means a personal computer with Windows on board and an Intel processor. In this case, the new Toshiba tablet will work on the Intel Atom Oak Trail tablet platform. The diagonal of the display will be 11.6-inches, the amount of RAM 2 GB, and the tablet will be equipped with 64 GB flash memory.

Approximate date of appearance of the model - the second half of the year. According to Marco Perino, head of digital solutions at EMEA Toshiba Computer Systems, the tablet may not be available in the whole region, but based on a study of demand in local markets.
