Nemerle programming language

Speaker: Denis Rystsov

A report on what is so special about the Nemerle language and how it can be used to combat accidental complexity. The language itself is interesting and worth it to know about it, if only because since its inception in 2006 they say about it that this is the next version of C #, moreover, this statement remains true with the release of each new version of C # (including C # 5 CTP) despite the fact that conceptually the Nemerle language has not changed since creation.

In the report: I will teach the audience to read the code on Nemerle and show some of its features because of which it can be considered an improved version of C #; I will tell that F # and Nemerle are stepbrothers; I will touch on the pearl of the language - macros, because of which Nemerle can borrow features from other languages (for example, I implemented support for Active Patterns from F # to Nemerle as a macro) and create libraries that are impossible in other languages; in conclusion I will talk about the use of Nemerle in your project uniquation.ru
