Bush and Ilves talk about cyber attacks

The presidents of the United States and Estonia, George Bush and Toomas Ilves, at a meeting in the Oval Office discussed the problems of Internet crime and, in particular, talked about cyber attacks.

According to Ilves, an internet-based country like Estonia (where 97% of banking operations are performed via the Internet), network attacks can cause serious damage. The Estonian leader also called on developed countries to fight cybercrime together.

George Bush, in turn, called the attacks an interesting topic, about which he will learn a lot of new things, and instead of proposing a plan of action, praised Toomas Ilves, said that the Estonian president is well-versed in the problem and has some ideas.
