HTC Flyer officially unveiled
One of the highlights of the MWC 2011 exhibition, currently taking place in Barcelona, was the announcement of the first tablet by HTC Flyer. HTC Flyer is a small 7 "(1024x600) tablet weighing 415 grams, the body of which is made of a single piece of aluminum.
The heart of the tablet is the System-On-Chip Qualcomm MSM8255 with a Qualcomm Scorpion processor core operating at 1.5 GHz. Adreno 205, which is one of the fastest GPUs on the market, is used as a video accelerator.
HTC Flyer is equipped with 32 GB of internal memory with the possibility of expansion through microSD-cards, and 1 GB of RAM. The tablet has at its disposal a 5 MPc camera with support for auto and touch focus, and for making video calls there is a 1.3 MPx front camera. In addition to WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS, Flyer supports data transmission in HSPA / EDGE / GPRS mode.
However, the main feature of the tablet from HTC is not how much the hardware component, how much software and related services. HTC Flyer is equipped with a real capacitive stylus and supports HTC Scribe technology. This technology will allow not only to perform basic things like drawing, interacting with controls, but also to create full-fledged text notes with the ability to synchronize text with a recorded sound series. In addition, HTC Scribe supports syncing notes with your Evernote-account.

The HTC Watch service will provide access to dozens and hundreds of movies online (Video-On-Demand), and the client of the OnLive cloud service to a huge number of PC games. However, nothing is known about the fate of the last two services in the Russian Federation: content licensing is a complicated thing.
The novelty will be running Android Gingerbread with a proprietary interface HTC Sense, which has been redesigned and adapted for tablets. An upgrade to Android Honeycomb is scheduled for the second quarter of 2011.
A funny feature - the capacitive buttons change their location depending on the orientation of the device in space. The device's battery capacity is 4000 mA / h, which is equivalent to 4 hours of continuous video playback.
