Crowdsourcing translation of the Twitter interface into Russian has begun

Today, the Twitter team launched the Translation Center system , which allows you to organize crowdsourcing translation of the interface into other languages.



Twitter is currently available in English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Spanish. These languages ​​are available at the Translation Center, so their speakers can continue to update interface translations in these languages.

In addition to the languages ​​already available, languages ​​such as Indonesian, Turkish and, finally, Russian have been added to the Translation Center. These three languages ​​are preparing for release in the first place.

The new Translation Center allows any Twitter user to register, select a language and immediately start translating. Translators can localize twitter.com, mobile.twitter.com, Twitter for iPhone and iPad, Twitter for Android, Twitter help and Twitter business center.
