[Webinar] Representation of hierarchical structures in relational databases: Materialized Path

Sergey Tomulevich ( phoinixrw ), head of the UGC development group of the Rambler company, continues to share his experience in database design. The subject of the next webinar will be another method of storing and retrieving trees in the Materialized Path relational databases.

In a sense, Materialized Path is a compromise between a database, an application, and a developer, in which the database does not know what is stored in it. An application can relatively easily operate with branches, and the developer can visually understand what is happening.
