Sony Ericsson Introduces Xperia Play, Neo and Pro

Sony Ericsson today unveiled three new Android smartphones - Xperia Play, Xperia Neo and Xperia Pro.

Xperia play

Xperia Play, also known as the PlayStation Phone - the first officially certified PlayStation device - will be released in March. Specifications: 4-inch FWVGA-display with a resolution of 480 × 854, a 5.1-megapixel camera, 400 megabytes of internal memory and an 8-gigabyte microSD card.

On the Xperia Play, equipped with a single-gigahertz ARMv7 processor Scorpion, platform 2.3 (Gingerbread) will be installed. It weighs 175 grams and will be available in white and black.

To launch games specifically for Xperia Play, Sony Ericsson collaborated with twenty computer game developers, including Gameloft, Electronic Arts and Blue Mobile.

Xperia pro

In Xperia Pro will be combined touch screen with a sliding keyboard.

The pro is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8255 odnogigagertsy processor and will have a 3.7-inch display with a resolution of 854 × 480. Platform 2.3 (Gingerbread), 320 megabytes of internal memory and an 8-gigabyte microSD card. The device will support up to 32 gigabytes.

Xperia Pro will be in three colors: black, silver and red.

Xperia neo

Xperia Neo is the smaller equivalent of Xperia Pro, in which only the touch screen is presented.

The processor, display, platform and memory features are identical to the Xperia Pro.

Xperia Neo will be in three colors: blue gradient, red and silver.
