The Japanese announced the simplest emergency phone

The Japanese telecommunications corporation SoftBank, which is engaged in cellular and fixed communications, broadband access and other similar lines of business, presented the world's easiest cell phone. True, this phone is not designed to call friends and family in order to find out how they are doing. The device is designed for children and the elderly, who can give a signal to relatives and friends, in case of an emergency (well, for example, the child got lost, or the elderly person became ill).

Such situations occur more often than we would like, and therefore SoftBank Corporation together with the Chinese corporation ZTE Corp. (how is it without the Chinese?) has released an emergency communication device to the mobile phone market. As you can see, the device looks like a keychain, with an LCD display and a single button. The display shows the time, charge level of the device and communication with the cellular network.

The button is designed to call the "emergency" phone number, which can be changed, of course. When you press a button, the call is made to the specified contact. By the way, the device is equipped with a GPS module (here you have the easiest phone), which automatically determines the coordinates of the device owner, and sends the coordinates via e-mail (again automatically). All these functions are implemented quite rationally, so that in any situation neither the child nor the adult will get confused - the button is simply pressed and the device starts working.

Well, it’s already quite simple to find a person from the received coordinates - such a task is being solved in a matter of seconds. Despite the fact that the developers called the device “the simplest phone” in the world, you can see that the device is quite advanced, but all the functions of the device are tied around one button.
