Technology, technology, technology. Everything runs somewhere, flows and does not stop this crazy stream. And is it necessary? However, behind the series of new, fashionable words, and what lies behind them, we often miss something important. No, not at all globally, not even so much to understand that we have missed something. Little by little, every day delving into another new wonder, its features, nuances, and differences from other already studied technologies, we erase a piece of the professional “I” and boldly write down new knowledge from above. However, this topic is not a philosophical reasoning about how hard it is for all of us and what to do about it, but that to make the Internet a little brighter and more interesting, and to be a little happier, you don’t need almost anything ... well, except a little javascript.

The plot, the junction and the epilogue

About two years back, my beloved wife decided to take up photography, and about two months back, she was ripe to make a website with her portfolio. For me, as for a web developer, it was an excellent occasion: firstly, in all the years of professional work, I never got my own page and did something practically for myself - it was very honest with my, almost atrophied, the urge to express; But secondly - what could be better than work, which is a joy?

Development at the limit, extreme design, programming for sixteen hours - it's all about the creation of this site. The page was implemented in one evening, another evening went for revision, and then within two months some trifles were added, for ergonomics. However, I wanted something else. Not just a page with photos - that ultimately just a story from one person, I wanted a dialogue with visitors. What a good old toy that every visitor will remind their own, some long forgotten, but very warm feelings. And to make it all look unusual and attractive, I hid it all in an Easter egg in the form of a konami code .

The whole dynamics is made solely on javascript, but in fact there is nothing else, and that is not necessary. On the whole work Easter eggs in the aggregate took about five hours. Yes, there is room for optimization, but for today, I have allowed myself not to be a pedantic coder.

And most importantly - good thoughts do not require much, you already have everything that is required, just do not interfere with their incarnation.
