Fortunately, at a stop in a simple DVD store, liquid was found. Firms Digitex, CD / DVD Repair-kit for 10 bucks. The set consisted of three strips of sandpaper, a tube of white paste and napkins.
At first I thought that using paper I would only make it worse and tried to polish it with paste for 5 minutes, strengthening it with rubbing on the surface. It became better, the surface got shine, but everything was not so great that I was pleased with the result.
In the hands of the iPod was and sandpaper. I think Jobs would have started with a nervous tick, but in the city of Minsk, otherwise it would not work, buying a new case is not only expensive, but there is nowhere. Order from local suppliers, you can forget about it, do not bring. Do not go because of this in Moscow.
Sandpaper three types. The formerly called null, here is divided into three kinds, numerically. The first one completely makes the surface of the Ipod matte and does not need to be afraid of it. Then we also defend confidently the second one and at the end the first one (by the way there is a number written behind it) brings the surface to a perfectly flat one if you do it diligently.
Then, apply the paste on the surface of the iPod and polish the surface with force and a napkin for 10 minutes.
This is not to say that all the scratches were removed, but the presentation of the player has finally acquired the noble appearance of a slightly worn life of a man’s best friend.
