David O'Reilly

In May 2008, several videos appeared in YouTube on behalf of a 9-year-old boy from Chicago about Octocat, an octopus cat who was looking for his parents. The first episodes collected a huge number of views, Octocat became a meme, collected a huge fanbase. The last episode, released in September 2008, surprised many, the 23-year-old artist David O'Reilly turned out to be the author of all the videos.

Then his film Please Say Something won numerous awards.

And yesterday, David posted on his channel a new film, The External World. A huge number of references, meanings, absolutely beautiful work. So for those who are tired of Evil Knights, Heroic Children and Funny Animals, I highly recommend you to get acquainted with his works.
